I heard Mira Awad on NPR this evening. Moving away from the political ideology she simply stated that we need to look at each other as human beings. Instead of peace meaning that we must be best friends and agree on everything, it should mean that you and I are simply human and we need to treat each other in a humane way. Hmmmm, love thy neighbor as thyself comes to mind.
